The Role
This is a unique opportunity for a highly experienced PI lawyer ready to step into a leadership and mentoring role. You'll oversee the performance and development of our legal team, drive productivity, and ensure high standards of file management and client service.
Key Responsibilities
Mentor and support a team of PI lawyers across varying levels of experience
Provide strategic input and legal oversight on complex or high-value matters
Monitor and drive team performance to meet monthly financial targets
Conduct regular file audits to ensure best practice and compliance
Step in to assist with files when lawyers are under pressure or approaching deadlines
Ensure all key steps and legal timelines are adhered to across the firm
Collaborate with the Director and Operations Manager to improve workflow and team efficiency
About You
Minimum 10 years' post-admission experience in Queensland personal injury law
Strong technical knowledge across CTP, WorkCover, and public liability claims
Proven leadership, mentoring, and supervisory experience
Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ready to transition from fee-earning to a strategic leadership role
