About the role

This Project Manager role operates within our Land Development portfolio which is responsible for the full project cycle from ideation to delivery, working closely with our Property Development team as the client and project sponsor

Some of the key aspects to this role include:

  • Define, plan, manage, review and control projects under general guidance and with minimal supervision, to achieve high quality outcomes that meet or exceed any agreed project objectives.
  • Development of project budgets for BAC's Business Plan. Development of project Capex or Board papers.
  • Assist the Infrastructure Development team to achieve the necessary approvals through BAC's Investment Gates 1 -3, with key advice areas being scope, time, cost, risk, resources and procurement.
  • Maintain compliance to the BAC's Project Management Framework (PMF).
  • Develop and maintain high quality project records, such as but not limited to, management plans, cost schedules, time schedules, risk assessments and issue registers.
  • Review and assess documents from project sponsors, contractors, consultants, internal and external stakeholders and action accordingly

About you

You like to be part of a happy, high performing team and take pride in making a difference through doing great work.

You will ideally be tertiary qualified with several years of relevant experience in project delivery of civil related projects, including client-side experience. With a sound understanding of Australian construction codes, you will have experience in the management and administration of Australian Standard construction Contracts.

We are seeking a motivated individual, who is capable of building and maintaining solid relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders. Whilst previous airport experience would be great, if you're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at managing multiple priorities, we would love to hear from you, because that is a day in the life at BAC.
