Senior Payroll Officer

We value diversity and are looking for a Payroll Officer to oversee payroll for Australia and New Zealand, managing outsourced payroll processing, compliance, and reporting. This role involves managing time and attendance software, ensuring compliance with the General Retail Award, and acting as a point of contact for employee payroll queries.

  • Coordinate with Micropay to ensure accurate and timely employee payments.
  • Maintain and authorize timesheets in Human Force software.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related employee inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with awards and agreements.
  • Process workers' compensation claims.
  • Handle payroll tax, superannuation, and related payments.
  • Provide payroll data for management reports and budgets.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure policy compliance.
  • Prepare monthly payroll reports.
  • Review and improve payroll processes.
  • Participate in payroll system projects and upgrades.
  • Manage Employee Product Allowance program.
