The Opportunity
As an Associate Director, you will need to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Greenfield statutory and/or strategic urban planning. You will provide services including advice on land use, subdivision, due diligence assessments, masterplans, PSPs, and the approval process and management. Your technical background will bring leadership, credibility, and professionalism to the role, building relationships with greenfield clients and contributing to the growth of Victoria Planning.
As a member of the Victoria Planning leadership team, you will also support staff growth and development through coaching, mentoring, and strong people management skills.
You Will
- Provide expert advice on land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, masterplans, PSPs, and approval processes.
- Apply advanced statutory and strategic urban planning principles and methods.
- Achieve revenue targets through service delivery and project management.
- Support the Planning team and staff on a day-to-day basis, ensuring project viability.
- Identify opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration across Victoria and the broader firm.
- Stay informed of market and industry trends and develop strategies accordingly.
- Mentor and develop individual staff members.
- Contribute to a safe workplace, adhering to WHS policies and reporting hazards.
- Promote continuous improvement in workplace health & safety.
- Perform other duties as required.
About You
- Have tertiary qualifications in Regional and Urban/Town Planning or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to manage and develop teams.
- Proven track record in managing projects.
