  • Support day and shift supervisors by ensuring adequate staffing, while mentoring and developing team capability.
  • Maintain training standards for safety and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams to drive efficiency and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Monitor KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives using the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Adjust) methodology.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving strategies and process improvements to enhance SQLCT (Safety, Quality, Low Cost Tonnes).
  • Manage lean, high-performing teams to deliver strategic outcomes with agility and discipline.
To be successful in your application, you will ideally possess:
  • Proven experience in leading production operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate shift activities effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Proficiency in monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially across planning and maintenance functions.
  • Experience with workforce planning and training in operational procedures.
  • Familiarity with production planning systems.
