Overview

MELB Director (Corpsumer PR) — $150k-$200k (base pay range: A$150,000.00/yr - A$200,000.00/yr). Melbourne, Australia. Expressions of Interest for a newly created, corpsumer-focused role with a Melbourne-based Public Relations & Communications Agency.

Responsibilities
  • Support the CEO and partner with internal teams (Social, Strategy, Creative and Experiential) to deliver integrated communications.
  • Manage a portfolio of diverse corpsumer clients.
  • Manage strategic media relations and campaigns across the Australian media landscape on behalf of clients.
  • Oversee daily operations and strategic campaigns, including project management, budget & forecasting, planning and resourcing.
  • Generate creative media relations and communications strategies that deliver results for the agency's national portfolio of clients.
  • Daily operational management: project management, timeline delivery, scoping, forecasting, capacity planning, invoicing, resource management, financial reporting.
  • Team growth and leadership: mentoring, development, and effective line-management.
You
  • Live in Melbourne, AUS
  • Have an extensive network of clients and media contacts
  • PR agency experience (10+ years) is required for this opportunity
  • Previous experience with corporate or corpsumer clients is preferred
  • Relevant tertiary degree in communications, marketing or public relations is desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of the Australian PR landscape
  • High attention to detail
  • Describe yourself as an exceptional communicator (oral and written)
  • Are a confident presenter
  • Describe yourself as creative, collaborative and supportive of others
