If you've been working in recruitment or as a real estate sales agent and are sick of making continuous cold calls to establish new business, then this is the perfect role for you.
Focus on recruiting the available roles within the business and building long-lasting relationships with both internal and external candidates. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this role is a key part of the HR & Recruitment team as it generates growth opportunities for the various divisions, teams and offices within Highland Group. This role is a recruitment and headhunting position that requires sales and people skills to be successful.
You will be trained thoroughly by the Head of People & Culture and receive ongoing support in the role. This role is full time Mon - Fri. The office base for this role will be in the Sutherland Shire, but you will need to be flexible to travel to the other Highland offices depending on interview/meeting requirements.
Duties Include, But Not Limited To
- Creating "Hot lists" - identifying, qualifying & categorising these lists
- Market analysis and research of agents in local and surrounding agencies
- Headhunting potential agents across relevant locations
- Telephone screening candidates for existing and potential opportunities
- Diarising notes for further follow up & relationship development
- Writing & posting Job Ads via our recruitment system, shortlisting & screening applications
- Conducting reference and police checks
- Booking interviews with both external & internal candidates with relevant administrative communication
- Keep up to date and involved with the culture & values of Highland and the workings of the RE industry
- Adhering to weekly and monthly KPI's based on activity - both phone calls & face to face meetings. Including weekly activity reporting to the Head of People & Culture
- Attending compulsory weekly meetings with the HR team to discuss pipeline
In order to be successful in this role, you will need:
- Must have experience as either a recruitment consultant or in real estate sales to be considered
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be a natural people person
- A strong ability to build and maintain relationships in short time frames
- Be highly organised with good time management skills
- The ability to confidently follow up people with calls or messages to keep candidates warm
- Understanding of how to meet and report on KPIs
- Enthusiasm for people, growth and development
