Performance Manager – KINESSO Australia

As a Hybrid Performance Manager, you'll be the leader of a tight-knit performance team integrating into Kinesso's client campaigns ensuring they reach their full potential. You would have demonstrated success by managing digital marketing campaigns across various paid media marketing tactics (Social and SEM), have exceptional client relations skills, and are excited to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Seeing campaigns through from start to finish, including placement, tracking, testing, reporting, and pacing towards budget.
  • Serving as an expert on the client\'s business, industry, competitors, key drivers, and environment, and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Providing sound reasoning for challenging clients on briefs and suggesting alternative approaches that could better meet marketing objectives.
  • Creating custom implementation strategies for clients, including optimal weights, placements, and buying parameters.
  • Analysing and evaluating media proposals with limited guidance, using core principles of the buying process, including analysing, predicting audiences and costs, and tracking and optimizing results.
  • Constantly seeking ways to improve and enhance schedules to effectively achieve communication goals and cost efficiency.
  • Assessing delivery against plan and managing the plan to address shortfalls, if any.
  • Providing post-campaign reports detailing results against planned KPIs, expenditure, communication goals, and campaign effectiveness, including learnings and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Supporting the Director in client contract negotiations and evaluating cost, value, and delivery to achieve the best result for clients.
  • Preparing contracts/IOs and proposals for clients.
  • Handling difficult conversations effectively, seeing them as opportunities, reading situations quickly, and resolving disputes fairly.

Client Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maximising client retention and growth.
  • Effectively manages client expectations and communicates status updates, resourcing changes and deadlines.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to clients on media-related matters and provides expert insights on their industry, competitors, and key drivers.
  • Leads and manages client meetings/daily WIPs and updates, ensuring campaigns and market updates include action items.

People Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of Performance Executives and Coordinators.
  • Builds goals and manages 30-60-90-day plans for Executives and Coordinators.
  • Ensures appropriate leave planning of the team and manages expectations with internal teams and clients.
  • Works towards achieving zero errors/write-offs across Reprise.
  • Creates an environment of open communication and keeps the team informed about policy changes.
  • Motivates the team to exceed client expectations and produce high-quality work.
  • Takes responsibility for the team\'s quality of work and success.
  • Manages workflow and resource allocation in the team effectively.
  • Provides support and guidance to team members to help them learn best practices.
  • Works closely with the Director to manage and develop team members\' careers through coaching and feedback.
  • Holds career progression meetings with team members with the Director and helps create development plans.
  • Handles difficult conversations effectively, reading situations quickly, and resolving disputes fairly.

Commercial/Finance Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of invoicing responsibilities for the team and addressing issues promptly.
  • Sending invoices to the correct client contact in a timely manner and properly filing copies of all invoices.
  • Implementing accurate financial tracking processes, including PO numbers and value trackers.
  • Tracking all pre-bill invoices accurately and consistently.
  • Communicating and resolving financial/billing issues with clients while maintaining strong relationships.

Salary ranging from $80,000-85,000 inclusive of super.
