Responsibilities- Teach effective Swimming and Water Safety to help grow the swim program.
- Work mornings, evenings and weekends as required; be empathetic to the needs of the classes.
- Communicate and interact effectively with students of diverse ages, abilities, cultures and needs.
- Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style; excellent verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of OHS and public safety within the facility.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends; empathetic to class needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate.
- Blue Card.
- Current AustSwim Certificate - Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety.
- AUSTSWIM extension certificate (Desirable).
- Previous experience in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded.
- You must be able to work after school hours and Saturdays.
