Aurora's Software Solutions team is building the global investment analytics platform for the energy transition. Widely adopted by leading energy companies and investors, the platform changes the way that energy market analytics is performed and delivered. The global Technical Customer Success team sits at the critical interface between the end users and the teams that develop these software solutions. As Aurora continues to expand its software presence in APAC, this team is essential to Aurora's growth.

We are seeking a driven Analyst to join the Technical Customer Success team in Sydney and train, advise & support software customers within the APAC region. The successful candidate will combine astute analytical ability with excellent communication skills and a passion to work with energy sector clients to integrate Aurora's software products into their decision-making processes. They will be confident in topics concerning power markets and the energy transition and desire to work in a creative, intellectually stimulating, and supportive environment, where they will play a driving role in one of Aurora's key strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support leading developers, utilities and funds to integrate Aurora's software products into their decision-making processes
  • Meet with clients in-person and virtually to support their usage of our software products, building relationships to help grow and retain Aurora's client base in APAC
  • Guide customers as they use the Aurora software suite to conduct asset valuations and construct long-term power market scenarios to inform their market view
  • Troubleshoot wide-ranging client requests and help clients interpret complex results, using your power markets knowledge and data analysis skills
  • Onboard new accounts and develop deep knowledge about their use cases for our products, leveraging technical expertise across Aurora's software suite and relevant power markets knowledge
  • Represent the client's voice internally, conveying feedback to the product teams in order to refine product roadmaps
  • Actively contribute to knowledge building and expanding the capabilities of the team
What we are looking for

Required attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM subject
  • At least 1 year of professional exposure in an analytical, client-facing role with B2B experience
  • Deep interest in the energy transition and SaaS products
  • Self-starter with creative problem-solving approach and ability to rapidly assimilate new knowledge
  • Passion for working with clients across the energy sector
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate and collaborate with both technically and non-technically minded parties on a range of complex topics
  • Able to analyse, interpret and derive insights from complex quantitative data and information
  • Customer-first mindset with the confidence to pursue outcomes mutually beneficial to all stakeholders
  • Consulting experience
  • Well-versed in SaaS products/processes
