Aluminium Casting Operator

Our Specialty Products branch in Eagle Farm specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of a growing range of stylish outdoor furniture and structures. Our products are crafted for clients such as local governments, councils, shopping centres, schools, sports clubs, and public spaces.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Aluminium Casting Operator to join our manufacturing team.
The Role
- Manufacture aluminium castings by pouring molten metal into cast iron dies
- Conduct quality inspections on each casting to ensure high standards are met
- Maintain die integrity by applying mould release as needed
- Monitor and manage furnace levels, feeding ingots as required
- Operate effectively both independently and within a team environment
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in a foundry or metal casting environment (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing quality work
- Physically fit and capable of handling hot and heavy materials safely
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Committed to workplace health and safety practices
- 38-hour week with Monthly Paid RDO
- Full-time permanent opportunity - with ongoing permanent work
