Duties

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join our Tamworth team on a Fixed Term Contract basis (6 months).

With specific responsibility for supporting the Operations function, you will report to the Operations Manager and will work closely with local site transport and the warehousing team to deliver a range of general administration duties using SAP, Microsoft Office and hard copy files.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • To complete all administrative duties within agreed time scales
  • To produce and process dispatch paperwork, raise purchase orders and scan various documentation
  • Liaise with 3rd Party logistics via email & phone
  • Continuously review all activities adopting a "can do" and proactive approach
  • Be compliant with all legislative and statutory requirements

We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will:-

  • Be proficient in SAP
  • Have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail/accuracy and be able to work alone when required.
  • Be self-motivated, focused, flexible, numerate, possess excellent organisational skills along with strong IT skills
  • Be highly motivated, ideally with experience of admin tasks and Planning.
  • Be capable of working on your own initiative in what will be a key role to the efficient operation of the site.
  • Work within a warehouse environment and adhere to all PPE and health and safety requirements.
