Beep Beep, Toot Toot Calling all locals looking for a short weekday volunteering role and a fun way to meet others and give back.

HammondCare Daw Park is looking for a Volunteer Bus Driver on a Monday or Wednesday morning. In this role you will be the friendly face of the bus outing, helping drive Residents around the local area, possibly stopping to enjoy morning tea or a visit to a park. You will be accompanied by qualified care staff who will look after the resident's care needs on and off the bus.

You'll suit this role if you are comfortable to:

- Be a safe and confident driver to assist staff during bus outings

- Half day excursions

- Provide social support and interact during activities

Your impact

Volunteering as a Minibus Volunteer can be a rewarding experience, both for the people you interact with as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Bus trips generally run for up to 1.5 hours between 930-1130am, we are seeking a driver on a Monday or Wednesday. Staff will help residents on and off the bus.

18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check
• C class drivers licence
