This is an entry level position suitable for individuals aged 18 and above. Full training is provided. Water Quality Inspectors play a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, and operational aquatic environments for all guests.**Roles & Responsibilities:****Roles & Responsibilities*** Perform hourly water testing and chemical balancing as per set procedures.* Record all water chemistry results accurately in logbooks or digital systems.* Monitor and maintain pool water levels.* Clean and maintain filters, chlorinators, skimmers, and pool vacuum systems.* Inspect and maintain dosing and metering equipment (training provided).* Assist with scooping, vacuuming, and surface cleaning of pools.* Conduct plant room checks and ensure spaces are clean and hazard-free.* Support minor repairs and report any faults or safety concerns to supervisors.* Participate in scheduled maintenance procedures for pool equipment.* Follow instructions and complete daily task checklists.* Attend team meetings and safety briefings.* Cooperate with other Facilities team members and park departments as needed**Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):*** Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.* Use all safety and personal protective equipment correctly.* Demonstrate safe work behaviours and lead by example.* Report any WHS incidents, injuries, or near misses to your Manager and First Aid immediately.* Actively promote hazard and near-miss reporting.* Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss safety topics and contribute to improvements.**Requirements****Education:*****Essential***Water Quality Essentials Training (provided by Raging Waters Sydney)***Desirable**** Manual Handling Training* Confined space training* Working at Heights training* Manual Drivers Licence* Forklift licenceLanguages: Fluent English**Skills:*** Basic communication and teamwork skills.* Ability to follow instructions and procedures.* Physically fit and capable of climbing towers and working outdoors.* Attention to detail and commitment to safety.* Ability to remain calm and professional in varied weather and guest conditions.**Experience:**No prior experience necessary training provided.**Relationships**Internal: General Manager / Facilities / Finance / Food & Beverage / Guest Experience/ Operations / People & Culture / Retail / Sales & MarketingExternal: Guests/ Contractors / Suppliers / Business PartnersOrganization**Any other relevant comments:*** Must be 18 years of age or older.* Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, early morning starts (from 5am as late as 9pm), evenings and public holidays.* Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct policy.* Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates.* Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work.* To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Direct Manager, General Manager, or any member of the Management Team* Adhere to the Employee Handbook content and requirements.Smoking in the workplace is allowed in designated smoking areas only permitted by the applicable legislation of the jurisdiction.You are required to be physically fit, physical requirements include but are not limited to:WalkingCarryingLiftingReachingBendingPushingPullingSquattingSittingStandingTwistingRepetitious movement**Team member benefits:****Pay Conditions:**This is a casual position from October to April, with the need to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays during the season.Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season 15 December 2025 to 1 February 2026.The hourly rates are in accordance with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award.Water Quality Team Member aged 20 years or older are paid at a Grade 3 hourly rate of $26.70 per hour plus 25% casual loading ($33.38 per hour includes casual loading).Different rates apply for applicants 19 years of age and under.Penalty rates apply for Sundays and Public Holidays.**Benefits:**Our team members enjoy generous employment conditions including free entry:* Free admission to Raging Waters Sydney.* Ticket Incentive Program to share with family and friends.* Food and Retail discounts.* Recognition program.**Additional Information:**There are three requirements to be a team member at Raging Waters Sydney.
