Overview

The Personal Assistant to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery (DONM) provides high level, efficient administrative support to the DONM and Nursing Directorate. The role offers comprehensive advanced clerical, administrative, and daily coordination support to ensure timely, reliable, and effective achievement of key objectives. The PA supports the DONM with professionalism and discretion, maintaining strict confidentiality, privacy, and security in all business practices and communities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high level administrative support to the DONM and Nursing Directorate, including clerical tasks, scheduling, correspondence, and daily coordination.
  • Handle complaints in accordance with State and MNCLHD policies, in collaboration with Executive Management, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Maintain accuracy and timeliness of reports, written communications, and presentations; exercise discretion with confidential information.
About You
  • Demonstrated knowledge and capability in providing senior-level administration support with a commitment to high professional standards.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of professional conduct and exercise discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail in compiling reports, written correspondence, and presentations.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
