About the position

As the Senior Manager, Customer Strategy, you will be a key strategic leader responsible for shaping the customer strategy through tailored marketing strategies.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll lead the strategic planning of marketing activities across the student journey – from awareness to onboarding – with a strong focus on our domestic market. You'll oversee customer insight development, strategic builds, journey mapping, and campaign strategic direction across multiple channels, working collaboratively with teams across campaigns, paid media, web and digital team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the design and execution of domestic segment strategies, including end-to-end customer journey planning and marketing mix activation.
  • Oversee strategic marketing programs that drive engagement and conversion across the recruitment funnel.
  • Strategic guide and align cross-functional marketing teams to ensure a unified, cost-effective go-to-market approach.
  • Translate customer insights into compelling value propositions and integrated campaign strategies.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Marketing, Recruitment, Insights, Product, and the Office of the Provost to align marketing priorities with broader university objectives.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A degree in marketing, business, design, or a related field, with extensive relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • A proven ability to lead strategic marketing initiatives using customer insights, behavioural data, and segmentation techniques.
  • Expertise in journey mapping, persona development, and user experience methodologies.
  • Strong experience across digital and traditional marketing channels, with a deep understanding of customer touchpoints and campaign lifecycle management.
  • A record of delivering innovative, data-informed marketing strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
