Overview

Join to apply for the Manager, Student Accessibility role at Illawarra Mercury.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the operational delivery of Student Accessibility Services, including the development and implementation of personalised learning supports and reasonable adjustments for students with a disability/health condition.
  • Adopt a staff–student partnership approach and lead the Student Accessibility and Inclusion team to develop students' agency to succeed in their studies, increasing student retention.
  • Ensure inclusive, compliant, student‑centered services through strong, collaborative relationships with faculties, academic staff and other professional staff.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent people management skills, experience and demonstrated success in supporting teams through change.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to consider a service from a process and systems perspective to maximise effectiveness.
  • Note: This position has been classified as 'child-related work'; further information is available in the position description.
Role Details
  • Permanent/continuing, full-time appointment
  • Level 8/9: $117,918 - $146,302 + 17% superannuation
