About the role

As part of our Asset Services team in Brisbane, you'll lead the planning for key Integrated Gas Capital and Development activities – from new wells and drilling programs to infrastructure, exploration, rehabilitation, and restoration projects.


This is a role where your strategic thinking and technical planning expertise will help shape the success of critical projects that supply energy to millions of Australians. You'll ensure the right information flows seamlessly from stakeholders to our planning teams, enabling high-quality schedules, robust forecasting, and operational excellence.



Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and develop a skilled planning team – oversee 4 direct reports plus contractors, guiding integrated scheduling across multiple project streams.
  • Work on diverse, high-impact projects – from well delivery and development infrastructure to exploration and restoration.
  • Make your mark strategically – identify opportunities, influence decision-making, and ensure smooth execution from concept to delivery.
  • Enjoy scope for growth – broaden your skills, develop leadership capability, and shape best-practice planning processes.


What will you bring?

You will lead the creation and oversight of integrated project schedules using Primavera P6. Collaborating closely with technical teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment. You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven leadership experience in managing a Planning/Projects Control team or related activities.
  • Advanced technical skills in Primavera P6 and project controls.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and advanced use of Excel and Power BI analytical skills.
  • A passion for coaching and developing teams to achieve high performance
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, governance, and reporting.
  • Support change management by assessing impacts and integrating approved changes into schedules.
