Your opportunity:
Our Digital & Information group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Strategic Planning Lead to join our newly established Digital Utility team.

Digital & Information is responsible for digitally enabling Urban Utilities today and digitally transforming future capability to enable provision of digital services to our customers, community and people. The group is accountable to formulate and execute Urban Utilities' digital & data strategy, deliver Urban Utilities digital portfolio and provide day-to-day operations of information technology (IT), operating technology (OT), data, and the Internet of Things (IOT), including security, infrastructure management, system administration, network operations, and support services.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Digital Strategy & Planning, the Digital Strategic Planning Lead is accountable for developing and executing comprehensive strategic planning processes that align with Urban Utilities' digital and business objectives. This role is responsible f or digital roadmaps, adaptive planning, budget planning, workforce planning, and strategic vendor planning to ensure that strategic initiatives are effectively planned, monitored, and executed to drive organizational success.

Success in this role will be measured by the effectiveness and accuracy of strategic plans, the successful execution of strategic initiatives, compliance with regulatory requirements, and stakeholder satisfaction. Key performance indicators will include the timeliness and quality of strategic plans, the achievement of strategic objectives, and the effectiveness of planning processes.

About you:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, complimented by relevant industry knowledge and experience- Qualifications in strategic planning are highly desirable- Extensive experience in strategic planning and execution within large and complex organisations- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic frameworks and methodologies.- Strong knowledge of strategic management principles and practices.- Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address business requirements and influence strategic planning and execution- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams in the development and execution of strategic plans
