Position Details
  • Seeking: Part-time Speech Pathologist and Occupational Therapist to join the Village Connect team.
  • Hours: 16 hours per week per position, contract until Jan 2026 with potential extension.
  • Locations: Campbelltown / Fairfield, travel across Southwest Sydney.
  • Salary: Allied Health award, Level 3 health-professional.
About the Role

Village Connect is a pilot project supporting young parents and their children in Southwest Sydney, providing holistic social health support. The roles involve delivering goal-based therapies for children aged birth to 6 years, supporting early developmental identification, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services tailored to individual and group needs.
  • Support early identification and referral for developmental concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and external partners.
Qualifications & Experience
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist with relevant degree.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in health, social, NGO, disability, or private paediatric sectors.
  • Experience in community work, group facilitation, and working with diverse populations.
Additional Information

Applicants with lived experience as young parents, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply. Full license required for travel. Secondment options available. Flexible work days and hours negotiable.
