QA Lead – Shape the Future of Insurance Technology

In the world of insurance, trust is everything. Policies must work. Claims must be accurate. Systems must run seamlessly. Behind every successful insurer sits a technology platform that cannot afford mistakes. We're partnering with a high-growth SaaS company powering the commercial insurance sector across Australia and beyond. With an expanding client base of insurers and brokers, quality is mission-critical — and they're looking for a QA Lead who can raise the bar.

That's where you come in. You'll build strategy, shape frameworks, and lead a culture of quality across the delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a small but growing QA team.
  • Drive test strategy across commercial insurance products where accuracy, compliance, and reliability are non-negotiable.
  • Partner with developers, product owners, and business leaders to embed quality at every stage of the delivery lifecycle.
  • Lift the maturity of automation frameworks to enable faster, more reliable releases.
  • Act as the voice of quality in a business where clients depend on system precision.
Qualifications
  • Commercial insurance domain experience — understands the complexity, compliance, and nuances of insurance systems.
  • Proven leadership skills — mentored QA engineers, influenced cross-functional teams, and set strategy, not just executed it.
  • Strong technical foundations in automation, API testing, and CI/CD environments — experience modernizing QA practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge business expectations and technical delivery.
