The Opportunity

We are looking for our next Business Development Manager based in VIC whose primary function will be to engage, build and maintain sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with a portfolio of new and existing customers within our Mechanical Parts business. This role will work closely with our Sales Management to thoroughly understand the needs of existing customers' and support those needs in a manner that makes a positive contribution to our customers business. Then, replicate that knowledge to target newly identified potential customers to grow our business utilising our lead generation program.

Role responsibilities

  • Build and foster positive relationships with the key Mechanical and Automotive Wholesale organisations as their primary activity.
  • Facilitate face-to-face and phone meetings with existing key Mechanical customers to understand, develop and expand opportunities for ACM in their business.
  • Present the Customers feedback on service levels, product quality and delivery and desired changes to the key internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate agreed changes or improvements as agreed to deliver a better experience for customers.
  • Maintain the customer portfolio efficiently.
  • Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the industry to support ACM Part's growth and diversification to ensure that we are meeting or exceeding customer expectations continuously.
  • Create and implement innovative procedures/strategies to improve the customer outcomes and satisfaction levels
  • Analyse sales reports to understand potential areas for improvement for each customer

  • Automotive Parts knowledge – able to interpret parts
  • Experience in building business relationships/customer service
  • Account Managing/Business Development experience
  • Able to analyse reports and interpret
  • High computer proficiency
