Administration / Office Support, Business Professional

About the role: Aurizon is seeking a People Support Administrator to join our dynamic People Support team. This role provides first-line People support and advice to leaders across the business. You'll be responsible for responding to enquiries, processing employee changes, and ensuring timely and accurate administration of People processes.

Key responsibilities
  • Undertake and support People Services enquiries from leaders, delivering accurate and timely advice.
  • Collaborate with the offshore services team to ensure the delivery of high-quality People services in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the preparation of employment contracts and other People Services documentation in line with legislation and industrial instruments.
  • Assist with the maintenance of employee data and records to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, movements, and exits.
  • Partner with the broader People & Development function to deliver seamless support and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive employee experience through professional and proactive service delivery.
We're looking for someone with:
  • Experience in HR administration or a similar support role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exposure to HR systems (such as SAP SuccessFactors) is desirable but not essential.
