What You'll Do:

As our Accounting Manager you will:

Make a difference: You will be responsible for accurate, timely and reliable accounting processes. Lead a team of 5(two indirectly) Accountants and Assistant Accountant to maintain accounting processes.

Innovate and solve problems: Be responsible for month end closing, including Balance sheet and P&L and corporate reporting to the US. Whilst maintaining the general ledger, review finance journals and inputs for accuracy. Collect and analyse data used in preparation for providing discrepancies and analysis.

Collaborate: Work closely with the Divisional Controllers, Business Analysts regarding analysis of financial information. Review, reconciliations, investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Participate in reviews and audits, both internal and external.

Continuous Improvement: Ensure group policy, procedures are adhered to, and ensure that reporting is aligned throughout the business. Completes projects effectively, efficiently and on time. Works collaboratively and partners well with others. Communicates with clarity and respect for teammates, critically reviews processes to identify opportunities for improvement

What You'll Bring:

  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial accounting experience
  • Manufacturing Industry background, highly regarded
  • This is a Fixed Term Contract role until April 2026
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading people.
  • Experience in financial variance analysis.
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet tight financial deadlines.
  • Intermediate/advanced computer software skills across Excel and ERP system (Pronto is desirable)
  • Based in Dandenong
