  • Complete appropriate administrative duties, liaise with the administration team, report statistics, and complete progress notes.
  • Provide written and verbal reports as required.
  • Initiate referrals to external agencies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain current knowledge of research and evidence-based practice in Occupational Therapy and related clinical areas.
  • Exercise independent professional judgment on routine matters; direct supervision may be required for novel, complex, or critical tasks.
  • Lead and contribute to undergraduate student programs and training; lead and develop junior staff within the team; act as a role model for professional values and ethics.
  • Represent the profession clinically or in service development; participate in working parties, committees and internal forums as required at discipline and divisional levels.

They will have demonstrated senior clinical experience and leadership within a specialised area of clinical practice in healthcare and/or disability care settings. The role requires the ability to provide professional supervision and mentoring to junior staff, supporting their professional development and maintaining high standards of clinical practice. The applicant will have demonstrated ability to develop evidence-based and innovative clinical practices, with experience in initiating and conducting quality improvement activities. A current driver's license is essential for community-based work, including home visits and outreach services.
