About the role

We are seeking a suitably qualified and committed Teacher to fulfil the temporary full-time role of Stage 4 Wellbeing Coordinator at our school, starting in Term 3, 2025. The successful candidate will teach one of the following subject areas: Japanese (or another foreign language), Science, or Mathematics. This position has the potential to become an ongoing full-time position. The position has a time allowance and is remunerated at Position of Responsibility Level 1.

The Stage Wellbeing Coordinator plays a crucial role in upholding and fostering the School's Vision within the Secondary School. The Stage Wellbeing Coordinator ensures that students are effectively cared for pastorally, and directed and corrected in matters relating to individual behaviour and School policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Enthusiasm for engaging students in meaningful learning experiences
  • Passion for Christian Education
  • Ability to teach one of the following subject areas:
  • Japanese or another foreign language
  • Science
  • Mathematics
  • Confident in the use of technology in the classroom
  • Curious and tenacious learner with a passion for motivating students to be likewise
  • Desire to engage in a dynamic staff learning environment where the honing of one's teaching practice is encouraged and facilitated
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and to collaborate well with others
  • Experience in teaching stages 4-6 in your subject area
  • Have an integrated understanding of the interaction between one's faith and teaching
