Base pay range

A$42,000.00/yr - A$48,000.00/yr

Part-time, 3 days per week. 1 day working from home and 2 days working in our Melbourne office on Collins St. Offering a salary of $70,000 to $80,000 pa full-time equivalent plus other benefits.

Position Purpose

Founded in 1988, Frontier Financial Group set out to be a financial services company with a difference, and one that puts its 800+ clients first.

Our Client Service Officers (CSOs) each work alongside a Financial Adviser to service existing clients and create new business. A CSOs focus is on assisting clients, building relationships and aiding client retention. Although the position is to primarily support one adviser, there are times when you will work on other projects throughout the practice and work together with the Client Services and Administration teams.

This position adds value to the organisation through enabling the Planner to focus on the advice process and by managing the administrative and communication elements of the practice through dealing with Fund Managers, Product Providers and Clients.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are:

Client Initial and Review Meetings
  • Creating client implementation file which you will implement. All advice and review documents are finalised by other teams.
  • Greeting clients. This includes taking incoming calls to the practice and greeting clients upon arrival to the office for meetings.
Implementation of advice
  • Following the Advice Presentation Meeting, The Planner will identify the requisite steps to implement the Advice from which you will;
  • Follow Instructions from the SOA; the Implementation Sheet or Workflow Tasks as directed by Planners.
  • Follow up on application, rollover, redemption and other outstandings with Fund Managers, Platforms and Insurers through to completion.
Centrelink services
  • You will utilise the Online Portal in order to lodge applications online and update Income and Assets details and liaise with Centrelink Officers on behalf of Clients
Client Service Agreements
  • You will generate and provide Client Service Agreements (CSA) and follow up for the return of signed agreements within the legislated timeframes
  • Prepare and submit Fee Consents
  • Ensure fees are paid in accordance with CSA and within legislated timeframes
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting demands
  • Downing tools to assist Planner or clients when in the middle of something else
  • Maintaining a highly ordered working environment within existing systems and processes – no loss of documentation
  • Managing multiple cases at one time to completion
  • Ability to work with and fully utilise Administration support team (local and offshore)

  • Ability to foster professional relationships with a wide variety of clients and team members
Financial and Non Financial Targets

The Position is responsible for supporting the achievement of Financial Planning Key Performance Indicators.

These KPI's will be set and agreed each year based on the business strategy and performance requirements.

KPI's will include, but not be limited to the following variables:

  • Support business compliance
  • Client Feedback
  • Contribution to business projects
  • Uphold shared behaviours in Code of Conduct

  • You will have experience working within a similar role

  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Outstanding systems, organisational and time management skills and incredible attention to detail
  • Extensive Microsoft Office and Xplan experience
