We are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to support the compliance obligations of a leading superannuation provider.

31st July, 2025

In this role, you will provide day-to-day compliance oversight, advice, and monitoring, with a strong focus on SIS Act compliance and evolving regulatory requirements.

Duration:6 months

Location:Melbourne or Sydney (remote work option is available).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct day-to-day compliance reviews, assessments, and provide feedback and sign-off to Fund Services teams.
  • Review internal and external communications and materials to ensure alignment with the SIS Act and broader financial services legislation.
  • Provide technical guidance and interpretation of complex regulatory issues across superannuation and financial services law.
  • Assist in identifying, managing, and assessing the impact of regulatory change on Fund Services operations.
  • Track the progress of legislative changes through Parliament and monitor associated regulations and guidance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely responses to regulatory developments and ensure continued compliance across business processes.

    Essential Experience & Skills:
    • Proven experience in incident and remediation analysis, preferably in the superannuation and/or insurance claims domain.
    • Deep understanding of superannuation industry processes, especially insurance within super funds.
    • Solid working knowledge of SIS Act and SIS Regulations relevant to member remediation and incident handling.
    • Experience managing third-party providers and holding them accountable for service performance.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
