About The Opportunity

This is a permanent part-time mobile role with a minimum of 15 hours per week, supporting NDIS participants in their homes across the Inner Sydney and surrounding suburbs. The service operates 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm.

  • SCHADS Level 2 base rate from $34.58 per hour plus salary packaging benefits, penalty rates, and superannuation
  • Salary packaging benefits up to $18,550 per year (pay less tax)
  • Must be flexible to work across the week including weekends and holidays from 9am to 5pm depending on the business requirements
What You Will Be Doing
  • Aiding with daily life activities and assistance for community support such as attending a doctor's appointment and shopping
  • Supporting individuals with their educational and work-related endeavours
  • Facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities
  • Assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements
Who We Are Looking For
  • Experience or qualifications in disability or aged care
  • Experience supporting people with complex behaviours and/or mental health needs using a person-centred approach
  • Good and effective English communication skills
  • Ability to do accurate records, reports, and case notes through a mobile phone
  • Knowledge of the Disability Inclusion Act 2014, Disability Service Standards and the NDIS
  • Possession of a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Workers Check
  • NSW Driver's license (can be on Green P Plates), access to a reliable car and Comprehensive car insurance are required for the role
  • First Aid Certificate is also a necessary qualification
