Disability Life Skills Supporter (South-Western Sydney)Uniting Belimbla Park, New South Wales, AustraliaOverviewThis is a permanent part-time mobile role of at least 15 hours per week (Saturday fixed) with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to work with participants in their homes across South-Western Sydney LGA (Campbelltown, Liverpool, Fairfield, etc.).
What You Will Be DoingAiding with daily life activities and assistance for community support, such as attending a doctor's appointment and shopping.Supporting individuals with their educational and work-related endeavours.Facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities.Assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.Who We Are Looking ForPrevious experience in psychosocial disabilitiesGood communication skills and ability to do case notes through a mobile phonePossession of a valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers CheckNSW Driver's license (can be on Green P Plates), access to a reliable car and Comprehensive car insuranceFirst Aid Certificate is also a necessary qualification.Even BetterA Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual SupportIn Return We OfferMaximum allowable up to $18,550 salary packaging availableComprehensive induction training from Day 1 including buddy shifts.
