Join us at AZZO, where we're committed to delivering integrated technology solutions for a sustainable future. We're expanding and looking for an experienced Business Development Manager in Victoria to help drive demand for AZZO and EnergyX solutions.

As a Business Development Manager, you'll focus on building demand among key industry players like Asset Owners, EPCs, Electrical Contractors, Specifiers, Consulting Engineers, Utilities, and Renewable Energy Developers. Your main goals are to increase demand and retention for AZZO solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, manage sales pipelines to boost revenue, close sales opportunities and provide market insights to support strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow AZZO's revenue and close sales opportunities.
  • Build strong business relationships with key decision-makers in the renewable energy and electrical industries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Projects, Services, PQ, Operations, Digital, and Technology, to drive complete solution sales.
  • Identify and nurture new business opportunities for the EnergyX offer.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and professional engagement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience in the Renewable Energy, Electrical Contracting, EPC or Power Control System Integration industry.
  • Strategic understanding of demand creation, opportunity management, and market development.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
  • High level of computer literacy and ability to work with IT networking and electrical principles.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or a Nationally Accredited Course.
  • Experience in Renewable Energy Sales or as an Electrician.
  • Background in the Australian Energy Market Operations is highly desirable.
