About the role

SG Tiling is seeking a skilled Tiler to join our team on a contract basis in Adelaide, SA. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for the installation of high-quality tiles in both residential and commercial settings, contributing to the successful delivery of our projects. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in the building trades industry.

What you'll be doing
  • Accurately measure, cut, and install tiles to specification
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesives
  • Ensure tiles are laid in a neat, professional manner, meeting all relevant standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate the tiling process within project timelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the duration of the project
  • Provide advice and recommendations to clients on tile selection, layout, and finishes
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience as a Tiler or 3rd or 4th Year apprentice, with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the building trades industry
  • Strong technical skills in tile installation, including the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with clients and other tradespeople
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Hold an ABN or be willing to obtain one
  • Must be an Australian citizen or have unrestricted rights to work in Australia
