About the role
Sapphire Bathrooms is seeking a Wall & Floor Tiling Apprentice to join our team in the Western suburbs of Adelaide. This full-time apprenticeship position will provide you with hands-on training and the opportunity to develop valuable skills in bathroom renovation and the tiling industry.
What we're looking for
- A strong interest and aptitude for hands-on work in the building trades
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work precisely
- Basic numeracy skills for measuring and calculations
- A willingness to learn and follow instructions
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Eligibility Criteria:
- Provisional or full driver's license with reliable vehicle
- Physically fit and healthy due to undertaking manual labor work
What you'll be doing and learning
- On the job skills in renovating a bathroom from demolition to completion
- Assisting experienced tilers in the installation of wall and floor tiles
- Preparing areas for tiling, screed and waterproofing
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing tiles for installation
- Applying adhesive and grouting tiles
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Participating in ongoing training and skill development
