About the role

Sapphire Bathrooms is seeking a Wall & Floor Tiling Apprentice to join our team in the Western suburbs of Adelaide. This full-time apprenticeship position will provide you with hands-on training and the opportunity to develop valuable skills in bathroom renovation and the tiling industry.

What we're looking for

  • A strong interest and aptitude for hands-on work in the building trades
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to work precisely
  • Basic numeracy skills for measuring and calculations
  • A willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Provisional or full driver's license with reliable vehicle
  • Physically fit and healthy due to undertaking manual labor work

What you'll be doing and learning

  • On the job skills in renovating a bathroom from demolition to completion
  • Assisting experienced tilers in the installation of wall and floor tiles
  • Preparing areas for tiling, screed and waterproofing
  • Measuring, cutting, and preparing tiles for installation
  • Applying adhesive and grouting tiles
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Participating in ongoing training and skill development
