Role Overview:

We're on the lookout for a skilled tiler to help deliver quality finishes across a range of residential projects. In this role, you'll:

  • Read plans and drawings to figure out what's needed for each job.
  • Measure and mark up surfaces to plan your layout.
  • Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces.
  • Apply waterproofing where needed to keep things sealed and protected.
  • Using cutting tools to cut and shape tiles for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes.
  • Spread adhesive and lay tiles with care and precision.
  • Grout and polish tiles for a clean, professional finish.
  • Check your work to make sure it meets quality standards.
  • Following safety procedures at all times.
  • Collaborating with other trades and site supervisors to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas.

About you

To be successful in these roles, you will need the following:

  • Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in wall and floor tiling.
  • Knowledge of tiling materials, adhesives, and waterproofing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Skilled in the use of tile-cutting tools and equipment.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • White Card.
  • Driver's Licence.
  • Work Safely at Heights.
  • National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
