Are you an experienced property professional skilled in lease negotiations and stakeholder management? This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established retail network in a role that blends lease renewals, new site acquisition, and franchisee support.

About the Role

As Property Manager (Leasing & Renewals), you will take ownership of a diverse retail portfolio, managing lease renewals and options and supporting the Franchise Owners through the process. In addition there is a focus on new site openings. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong commercial acumen and the ability to build trusted relationships with landlords, agents, solicitors, and franchisees.

Key responsibilities
  • Negotiating lease renewals, options, and relocations within agreed commercial parameters.
  • Researching and analysing market data to support decision-making.
  • Reviewing lease documentation and negotiating lease terms.
  • Advising and supporting franchisees on lease-related issues.
  • Maintaining accurate property data and reporting on portfolio performance.
  • Working with projects team on new sites and refurbishments.
  • Partnering with regional operations teams to align property strategy with business needs.
About You

We are seeking a commercially astute property professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You will bring:

  • Proven experience in lease negotiation and property management (retail or franchising highly regarded).
  • Strong knowledge of retail lease legislation and commercial leasing practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, reporting capability, and proficiency with property systems.
  • Available for a fixed term contract and open to occasional interstate travel.
