Make an Impact as a Scheduler at MSWA. We are seeking a Scheduler to join our team and help ensure the efficient and effective allocation of services to Community Support Workers (CSWs) for clients living with neurological conditions (e.g., MS, Parkinson's, Huntington's, Motor Neuron Disease, Acquired Brain Injury, Stroke).
As a Scheduler, you'll coordinate, collaborate and problem-solve to match clients with CSWs based on skill set, availability and location, in collaboration with Community Team Leaders to minimise travel time and maximise service quality.
You will be the go-to person for rostering exemptions and last-minute changes to maintain continuity of care and ensure rosters are full and efficiently planned. You will also champion MSWA's values and contribute to a supportive team environment.
This role is offered on a casual basis, working from our Rivervale Office. Availability is required to undertake a negotiated 7.5hr shift between 5:30am and 9:00pm, Monday to Sunday.
Responsibilities- Review the day's roster and match clients with the right CSW based on skill set, availability and location.
- Collaborate with Community Team Leaders to optimise schedules and minimise travel time.
- Manage rostering exemptions and respond to last-minute changes (e.g., CSW sick leave) to maintain continuity of care.
- Support staff with rosters that are full and efficiently planned.
- Foster a collaborative and excellence-driven team environment.
- Demonstrated experience with rostering and allocation of shifts.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience using MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Professional phone manner and strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Positive can-do attitude.
- Genuine passion to make a difference.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Certificate IV in Disability/Aged Care or equivalent qualifications.
- Previous experience in disability/aged care sector.
- Knowledge of the NDIS and/or HCP systems and processes.
