Mjolner is no ordinary venue. A modern-day feast hall inspired by Norse mythology, fire, and forged steel — it's part of the award-winning Speakeasy Group, alongside legendary venues like Eau de Vie, Nick & Nora's, and Pearl Diver. We now seek a fearless and skilled Bar Manager to take up the mantle and lead our bar into glorious service.

Responsibilities
  • Command the bar with confidence, keeping service fast, smooth, and always legendary
  • Lead and inspire a loyal crew of bartenders and floor staff
  • Keep the mead flowing and the spirits high — both in the bottles and in the room
  • Manage inventory and stock like a true steward of the hall
  • Maintain the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and guest experience
  • Work with the kitchen and leadership to craft experiences worthy of Valhalla
  • Create and evolve a beverage program full of story, flavour, and thunder
You Must Bring
  • Bar or tavern management experience in a fast-paced, high-quality venue
  • A calm head in chaos, and sharp instincts in the fire of service
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
  • A deep passion for drinks, people, and hospitality
  • Bonus: Love of Norse mythology, storytelling, or themed venues
