The Opportunity

The Academic Support Unit (ASU) delivers high-level academic support services across UniSC's multiple campuses. From work-integrated learning to technical operations and school administration, ASU is instrumental in ensuring innovative teaching, research excellence, and enriching student experiences. Our team plays a key role in upholding academic quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the University.

As Accreditation Support Officer, you will provide vital administrative coordination and customer service to support curriculum and external accreditation activities across UniSC's academic schools. This is a great opportunity to work at the intersection of academic governance and operational excellence within a collaborative, future-focused team.

You will

  • coordinate a range of accreditation and curriculum-related activities, including external reviews and program changes;
  • support academic governance processes through committee work and policy compliance; and
  • contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and documentation.

About you

You are a detail-oriented and adaptable professional with strong administrative expertise and an ability to manage multiple priorities. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholders and explain complex requirements with clarity and professionalism.

With a proactive and service-oriented mindset, you bring a collaborative spirit, a commitment to quality, and a passion for supporting higher education excellence.

You will possess

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of experience and training;
  • Demonstrated experience in high-level administrative roles with a strong customer service focus;
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interpret policy, draft clear documentation, and support committee functions;
  • A high level of digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneNote);
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and respond flexibly to evolving priorities;
  • Experience working within a governance or compliance-focused environment is highly desirable; and
  • Willingness and ability to travel between UniSC campuses as required.
