We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and goal driven Account Manager, based in Victoria. This role is pivotal to growing the market share of our Engineered Building Product range within the region. You will be an integral team member to contribute to the development and growth of market share of the merchant channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, build and improve existing and new relationships with merchant clients and their trade partners
  • Create opportunities and new relationships with customers who would value our Engineered Building Product offering or other MiTek solutions (MiTek Services, Automation)
  • Work and co-ordinate, with other MiTek customer teams to maximise the level of service to our customers and meet their growing needs.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets KPI's and customer expectations
  • Plan and maintain a regular call cycle within the defined region and to report matters of customer issues, staff changes, competitor activities, sales trends.
  • Instigate and organise merchant trade / product training events to promote and educate the industry of MiTek's offerings.
  • Maintain complete customer data, call records and tasks within the Salesforce CRM system.
  • Liaise with Prefabrication staff and management as and when required where F&T and store business is shared.
  • Participate in trade/expo/building authority events as and when required.
  • Maintain knowledge of MiTek's range of products and services at all times and act as the MiTek expert.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Trade Building Cert. / Construction based Sales / Key account management / Technical qualifications/ Degree
  • Key account management experience combined with a proven sales background within the building industry or related trades
  • Demonstrating a good understanding of merchandising
  • Customer focused with an ability to analyse data and deliver the right solutions with professional integrity
  • Strong negotiation capabilities with a results-driven mentality
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build, manage and influence stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in Sales / Account Management in B2B

Computer Skills:

  • MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Salesforce or other CRM
  • Power BI or other business intelligent tools preferable
