About the Role

  • Drive disaster recovery efforts – representing GIVIT at recovery meetings, supporting frontline partners and delivering real-time reporting.
  • Be a trusted voice for responsible donation management & the circular economy – representing GIVIT in the media and at conferences and forums.
  • Grow influence and partnerships – fostering relationships with government, councils, local recovery agencies, community organisations and corporate partners.
  • Shape operational policies, procedures, and tools to maximise efficiencies and impact.
What You'll Bring
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in government, community, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in disaster recovery, community development, or emergency management.
  • Strong contract or program management skills – including monitoring KPIs & reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and inspire collaboratively across sectors.
  • Digital savviness and strong CRM and data capabilities.
  • A valid driver's license & willingness to travel across Queensland when needed.
Why You'll Love Working at GIVIT
  • Join a respected, award-winning organisation with national reach and local impact.
  • Lead meaningful, life-changing work that supports communities in need.
  • Join a dynamic, skilled, and passionate team that celebrates success.
  • Professional growth and development opportunities.
  • Attractive salary package, including salary packaging up to $15,900 per year tax-free, plus entertainment expense options and a Novated Lease.
  • Flexible hybrid work arrangements that value work-life balance.
  • Wellness, inclusion, sustainability, and continuous learning at the heart of our workplace.
  • Access to professional development, including GO1 learning.
  • The chance to shape how Australia responds to disasters and supports communities in need.
