Overview

Project Manager - Storm Recovery Officer role at Moorabool Shire Council. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate recovery activities following the February 2024 storms
  • Manage contractors and suppliers and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of recovery outcomes and restore vital infrastructure
Qualifications
  • Qualifications in arboriculture and/or horticulture, or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in project management within asset recovery and maintenance
  • Experience coordinating complex projects, managing contractors, and maintaining accurate records with safety and operational compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholders
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence and Construction Induction (White Card) required
  • Local government experience is highly regarded

About You

You are a proactive and adaptable professional with qualifications in arboriculture and/or horticulture, or equivalent experience. You will have a strong background in project management within asset recovery and maintenance, and demonstrated skills in coordinating complex projects, managing contractors, and maintaining accurate records with safety and compliance.
