Overview

Digital Designer role at Spotlight Retail Group (SRG).

Company: Spotlight Retail Group (SRG) – Australian owned and operated global retail business including Spotlight, Anaconda, Mountain Designs, Harris Scarfe.

You will support the marketing & brand function, focusing on concept, design and production of digital creative campaigns for Spotlight, including the build and deployment of all EDM, digital, social and e-commerce assets. Work in close collaboration with Marketing functions (Brand, Digital, Content, Studio) to execute the digital creative elements of the Marketing programme.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver visual communications that support the implementation of marketing strategies.
  • End-to-end creative development: design and deployment of all eDM, social and digital collateral with a customer-centric approach.
  • Maintain high attention to detail with quality assurance across all channels.
  • Adhere to tight deadlines and deliver on-brand collateral at a fast pace.
  • Manage content for Spotlight across four countries (AU, NZ, Singapore & Malaysia).
About You
  • At least 2+ years of digital design experience in an agency or fast-paced retail design studio.
  • Tertiary qualification in Visual Communication (Graphic Design / Multimedia) or similar.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, XD) and working knowledge of Figma.
  • Experience across digital & social channels (Meta, Google, eDM, Display & E-commerce).
  • Experience and understanding of frontend coding (HTML).
  • Basic motion/animation experience (After Effects, Animate or equivalent).
  • Experience with Insider Customer Engagement Platform is highly regarded.
  • Strong stakeholder management — concepting, presenting, producing high-quality digital communications.
