Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Commercial Manager plays an integral role in the operation by providing accurate and timely management and financial accounting information to meet mining and corporate requirements. As a member of the Site Leadership Team, you will be a key driver of the financial and operational success of the operation.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing the preparation of site budgets and forecasts
  • Ensuring compliance with group accounting policies and procedures
  • Developing and maintaining an environment of compliance and control in all aspects of the site commercial function
  • Managing site procurement, contracts, and contract management
  • Managing site camp and accommodation bookings
  • Driving a culture of Openness and Integrity in line with Glencore Values
About You:
  • Qualifications in accounting/commerce disciplines
  • CA/CPA qualifications (desirable)
  • Exceptional financial and commercial acumen with a long-term business mindset
  • Experience in resource or heavy industry sectors
  • Hands-on leadership with strategic thinking abilities
  • Effective stakeholder influence, communication, and collaboration skills
