Overview

Have you had experience working with townhouse projects? This role is working for the builder in their medium-density department. Reporting to the Project Manager Manager you will look after all the medium-density projects, the first being onsite at Rochedale. We are looking for someone that has great construction knowledge and experience working with developer clients to ensure the best outcomes for both parties. You will be involved in projects from inception to completion, working with the onsite construction team and manager, internally with drafters, estimators and contracts administration team.

Responsibilities

Prepare, manage and oversee medium-density projects from inception to completion, starting with onsite work at Rochedale. Collaborate with the onsite construction team and manager, drafters, estimators and contracts administration to ensure project goals are achieved. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and sub-contractors, and support cost control and reporting in line with company processes.

Qualifications
  • Have worked with an Australian Building company or developer.
  • Experience with Medium Density Residential or commercial construction
  • Knowledge of design and construction contracts and processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the clients and sub-contractors
  • Understanding of in project cost control and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ensure all site safety management and reporting is maintained in accordance with company policies.
  • Attention to detail in the maintenance of project documentation
  • Experience in South East Queensland market
  • Tertiary qualifications in Applied Science (Construction Management) is an advantage
