The OpportunityVacenti is seeking a full-time Human Resources Officer – Recruitment (Mat Leave cover 8-10 months) to join the Human Resource Team at our head office located at Upper Mount Gravatt. Reporting to, and working closely with the Human Recourses Manager, this role involves supporting hiring managers in all aspects of recruitment activities using internal and external relationships and consultancy-based methods. The role will manage a range of tasks across the recruitment function, including but not limited to, job advertisements, candidate selection, interview guide preparation, and ensuring pre-requisites are met.
This role is responsible for continuous improvement and the efficiency of recruitment activities and strategies to attract talent to the business. There is also an emphasis on educating our managers to engage and actively participate in their hiring processes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing the recruitment mailbox, providing accurate information, or coordinating messages.
- Support hiring managers in recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Champion Vacenti's employee benefits and coach hiring managers.
- Liaise with Roster teams and hiring managers for resourcing needs.
- Draft job ads, post online, and liaise with recruitment agencies.
- Oversee Assessment Centres, conduct screenings, reference checks, and interviews.
- Confirm offer terms, present verbal offers, and generate employment agreements.
- Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for vacancies and candidate pools.
- Provide monthly recruitment metrics for analysis and SLT reports.
- Support HR Strategy, teamwork, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to HR projects and undertake duties as requested.
To be successful in this position you will need:
- A sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices.
- Intermediate user of MS Office Suite, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
