You will be working alongside a team of highly driven and enthusiastic individuals who do not take themselves too seriously but do take what they do very seriously.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of complex/sensitive/high risk Commercial Property claims.
• Act as a referral point for claims officers to provide advice and approvals above authority
• Reviewing and settling of problematic cases.
• Setting reserves and authorising payment within scope of authority.
• Providing information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out.

At least 5 years claims experience of Commercial property claims.

Excellent knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice, Insurance Contracts Act, breach management and escalation process, complaints handling and monitoring.

Experience in providing advice to peers within a claims team.

Experience in dealing with a Broker Network.
