About the role

Group One is seeking an experienced Foreman to assist in the delivery of our current infrastructure projects in the ACT. Working closely with the Project Manager as a Civil Foreman, you will be responsible for the delivery of the project to meet project time and budget targets, whilst ensuring high standards of safety and environmental management.

Duties

· Thorough understanding of OHS and environmental requirements.

· Monitor compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

· Ensure project quality requirements are being met in accordance with the project specification and client expectations.

· Resourcing of Plant, Labour, and Material as per project needs.

· Plan and manage daily site works as per project delivery requirements.

· Provide leadership and advice to our permanent employees and subcontractors.

· Daily monitoring of activity costs.

· Meet the timeframes as per the project construction program.

· Record daily site activities.

Skills and Experience

· A motivated team player with strong leadership qualities.

· Thorough knowledge of local industry standards and practices.

· Ability to understand the drawings, specifications, and quality requirements for complete project site-related activities.

· Demonstrated ability to constantly deliver high-quality civil projects within time and budget constraints.
