Principal UI Designer

Your role at a glance:

• Design elegant, aspirational and considered solutions, artefacts and systems.
• Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class products and services.
• Stay curious and up to date on new tools, techniques and trends.

You will need:

• Strong experience in UI design and deep understanding of design systems; you've been doing this for several years and you really understand your craft.
• A willingness to own the design process, but not hold the idea or concept too tightly.
• You see collaboration as a superpower, you're comfortable giving and receiving feedback, and turning conversations into strong, people-centered design outcomes; all our work is through a multidisciplinary environment.
• Because you're experienced, you know how to manage yourself, your reliability, and competing priorities. That said, you understand the balance between a flexible collaborative mindset and self-directed work.
• You're excited by emerging tech and design practices.
• Familiar with WCAG and committed to accessibility.
• Able to work onsite in our Richmond studio.

You get extra credit for:

• Experience building modular design systems.
• Motion design capabilities.
• Public speaking experience (or willingness to give it a go).
