UI Designer

Australia Wide | Melbourne Preferred

Contract until April 2026

650 - $780 per day including superannuation

We're hiring a hands-on UI Designer to work with a major logistics and eCommerce client, helping to transform detailed wireframes into clean, high-quality interfaces that strictly follow an established design system.

This is an exciting long-term contract opportunity with the flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia (though Melbourne-based candidates are a bonus).

What You'll Be Doing

  • Translating wireframes into polished UI designs in Figma
  • Applying and maintaining design tokens using the Token Studio plugin
  • Ensuring consistency, naming conventions, and visual quality across all screens
  • Collaborating with developers, designers, and UX leads to hand over ready-to-build UI components
  • Proactively flagging design issues and ensuring system guidelines are followed

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years' experience in UI Design , ideally within large corporations such as logistics, banking, telecommunications or enterprise technologyExpert Figma skills , including component libraries and variantsProven experience working with design system or atom design or tokenised design systems (especially using Token Studio)Strong background in enterprise-scale or large product environmentsAbility to work independently and take ownership of your workHigh attention to detail and a passion for clean, consistent UI
