About the role

A rare opportunity is available for an Inside Sales Representative looking to break into the pharmaceutical industry. Sun Pharma is looking for an energetic Inside Sales Representative to join us and be the voice of our retail pharmacy business. You will be responsible for the sale, promotion, and execution of our retail pharmacy portfolio and strategies within your designated sales territory.

Ideally suited for candidates who are highly self-motivated and looking to move into a sales position to expedite their career in the retail pharmacy area. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Achievement of sales budgets across territory, through cycle objective targets
• Leverage promotions, campaigns, and NPD launches
• Grow existing customers and identify new business opportunities with potential customers
• Process orders and follow up with customers
• Support the Senior Account Executive team

Travel: One to three weeks per year to visit customers and attend trade shows.

The successful candidates:

• 1-2 years sales experience, telephone sales will be highly regarded
• Self-motivated and ambitious individuals looking to take the next step in their career within the pharmaceutical industry
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with management, colleagues, other departments
• Commercial awareness in the industry will set you apart
• Experience working in GP/Pharmacy sales or experience within pharmaceutical industry
• Tertiary qualified - ideally in Science, Applied Science or Marketing will be highly regarded but not essential
